Tina O’Callaghan
Registered Manager, Carricks Brook
Tina is our manager at Carricks Brook, a residential care home for adults with Autism and challenging needs. Tina holds an LMC award along with a number of NVQ and specialist care qualifications. She is also our in-house N.A.P.P.I. (Non-Abusive, Psychological & Physical Intervention) trainer. Tina has worked with adults with autism and learning disabilities for more than 20 years, both in support and staff training.
Michael Derrick
Managing Director
Mike joined the company in 1997 after completing a Diploma in Nursing and having worked in the National Health Service for a number of years. He works closely with the management team providing supervision and support and ensuring the aims, ethos and objectives of the company are achieved, most importantly high standards of care and safety. Mike is responsible for strategic planning, finance and undertaking regular audits of the service provided. Mike is an executive director of the East Sussex and Brighton and Hove Registered Care Association, working with other specialist care providers on issues affecting the care sector.
Michelle Baird
Facilities Director
Michelle joined the company in 2008 and brings valuable business leadership and management experience from her career in the national media industry. Michelle oversees the management & maintenance of the company facilities & works closely with the Registered Managers & staff team to ensure the quality of our environment & equipment.
Jocelyn Hubberstey
Deputy Manager
Jocelyn has worked at Carricks Brook for over 10 years and has enjoyed various roles from support worker and team leader through to kitchen chef and then to senior team leader. Having worked with residents with autism for over 12 years, Jocelyn has plenty of experience. She uses this experience in her role as safeguarding trainer as well as coordinating the recruitment of staff and supervises many other roles that enhance the lives of the residents at Carricks Brook.
Alice Bell
Care Coordinator
Alice has worked for Carricks for 6 years, she started as a support worker, quickly became a Team leader, then rose to the position of Care Coordinator, her role is very resident focused, so her experience and knowledge of the residents is so valuable to allow her to support them fully.
